THE MEANING OF THE NAME

Aerdna is the name behind the project.

Of Greek origin, it embodies intuition, logic, and an innate pursuit of knowledge. It also evokes a sense of spirituality, a fascination with mysticism, and a heightened sensitivity.

Aerdna reflects these founding elements in a harmonious and sophisticated balance — the essence of its identity.

FOUNDING VALUES OF THE PROJECT

Rational and emotional values form the pillars of Aerdna’s philosophical identity.

They guide the creative and design process behind each collection. Every jewellery piece is conceived as a work of architecture — where form and function converge, infused with profound human meaning and subtle, unconscious narratives.

Aerdna stands apart as a project that seamlessly intertwines the essence of the past with a contemporary design language, creating forms that are both distinctive and timeless.

The fusion of ancestral influences and modern vision enriches each piece with depth and meaning, gracefully bridging tradition and innovation.

ANDREA PINATO
FOUNDER AND CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Andrea was born in Valenza, a place where jewellery is more than a craft — it is a legacy. For many years, he has lived and worked in Milan, at the heart of design and contemporary culture.

From an early age, he was immersed in a world of artistry and savoir-faire, shaped by the rich heritage of one of Italy’s most renowned jewellery districts. This environment nurtured a deep sensitivity to form, detail, and meaning.

He later graduated in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Milan, a path that refined his vision and instilled a strong sense of structure and balance — elements that would become central to his creative language.

Over time, he developed a distinguished career in jewellery design, collaborating with various brands as a Creative and Design Director. His work reflects a continuous dialogue between discipline and intuition, precision and emotion.

In 2022, he gave life to Aerdna — a project that embodies his vision, where architecture, symbolism, and design converge into a singular expression.
